A Glimpse of a Different Life

Must get better at rapid re-adjustments. Just spent this morning at a mini job interview, then on for a capaccino with bf and young Italian waiters, in nice clothes, with apparently very smart handbag (though goodness knows, I don't know about that - someone else had to tell me), smart, incredibly comfortable car, (with which I am very gradually becoming enamored), beautiful town on a stunning spring day, elegant people everywhere - got home and instantly had to pick raspberries out of a library book.

Ho hum.

He he! What a lovely, civilised day - so civilised that even the well-dressed Italian waiters had handbags!!

Lol and errgh..It does sort of demonstrate the point...Was wiping peanut butter off the library book at that time of writing.

Main moral of today then, don't eat, help someone else read and blog at the same time...though actually am doing two of those things right now!

Different and lovely. Sounds like a wonderful day, Carlotta. And I'll take my raspberries wherever I can find them : )

Yep...actually so would I! The occasional day in the other world is a lovely change, but I prefer being back here with the interesting collection of Hama beads and a dismantled pencil that lie between me and the keyboard here.
