Certainly see this in my DS (13). Given a whole day at home, mostly entirely structuring his own day, will spend all morning in bed, do his chores when he gets up then do his hobbies in the daytime and study late into the night.Whereas both DDs (9 & 5) will wake up with ideas and be at it their 'work'* even before breakfast in their pjs ! Hurrah for HE.
* I use the term loosely. The 'work' usually involves glue, toilet rolls, sellotape, felt tips, stickers etc.
