A libertarian leaning, common preference seeking, pro-science, pro-critical rationalism, humanist blog, which is mainly, but by no means exclusively, about home educating in the UK.
To be replaced at least in part, by the Department for Education.

He's an interesting man.
The more I look at the system the more broken it seems.
To be honest I am beginning to think that the only answer is small groups of local families sharing home education; resources and time.
From this bedrock perhaps a new and better way of educating families (not just children) might emerge.
But tinkering with the school-on-sand system seems pointless.
I don't necessarily see technology as the answer either. People are the answer; caring for and sharing with each other so education can actually happen organically.
Am I making sense?
Rambling ol'woman I am. :)
