He's an interesting man. The more I look at the system the more broken it seems. To be honest I am beginning to think that the only answer is small groups of local families sharing home education; resources and time. From this bedrock perhaps a new and better way of educating families (not just children) might emerge. But tinkering with the school-on-sand system seems pointless. I don't necessarily see technology as the answer either. People are the answer; caring for and sharing with each other so education can actually happen organically. Am I making sense? Rambling ol'woman I am. :)
I'm the single parent of a 9 year old girl in London and am extremely interested in sharing home education, pooling resources and time with other parents - please contact me at Londonhomeed@gmail.com!
