Consultation Results Delayed

As if the nerves weren't frayed enough already, from the DCSF:

"As you know the consultation on home education guidelines closed on 31 July. Although we had aimed to publish a summary of the consultation results and guidelines this week, due to the large number of responses we received, this is now scheduled to take place by the end of next month. (That's end of November presumably). The consultation results will be published on the Department's e-consultation website

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for providing us with valuable feedback on the guidelines. "

Incidentally (sorry this is not directly related, it just came up from the link you gave, are people interested in having their children comment on this issue? I don't have
right age children, but feel it could do with some response.

Video games etc

Dr Tanya Byron's communication style is extremely patronising, I thought, but then I am not under 18.

Parents should help their children use these things rationally.

But I don't get the bike comparison?

No, Theo and I have been puzzling over the bike comparison as well...Theo thinks Tanya probably doesn't know much about torrent sites either...

"No, you are coming to walk with us, videogames are serious risk for your health"
