Home Education: "A Lovely Way to Live"
Barbara (of AHEd) and her family rock in this Radio 4 piece about autonomous HE. (From 36 mins on the Listen Again Tab). Loads of memorable (and accurate) soundbites. Well done, BS!
A surprised thumbs up for Dr Anthony Seldon, he was a heck of a lot more positive than I was expecting. I'd counter his point about 'the challenge of the other' with the fact that HE children DO meet people outside their family, so really his only negative is a misunderstanding or maybe a problem with a minority of HE families (after all it's possible to 'protect' your children from too much).
