Side Effects of Healthy School Meals

It seems my observation was correct, but apparently it isn't just the sweet shops that are benefiting from the drive to make school meals healthy. The chip shops are raking it in too.

Now what, Jamie?

I'm happy that he looses, but wasn't there some pilot scheme in a council where children that were shops at schooltime were reported?

Hi Leo
Some schools do not allow children off their premises at lunchtime, eg
st michaels, leeds
While from the dfes consultation last year on healthy eating we have:

• schools should consider whole-school food policies that account for the impact of packed lunches and other food brought into school, with DfES consultation inviting views on advice to parents on healthy lunchboxes or even imposing restrictions on pupils leaving school at lunch time;
