The comments to this article made me cry. People really have already been so brainwashed into believing that the state is a policeman and not a servant.I am so glad that my children have had this wonderful opportunity to access some freedom and truth. I really feel like us HEers are like foreigners living in a strange country at the moment.
our bigest weapon is the cost of it all we should be pointing this out more! people given a choice want any spare council money spent on they schools not us!
Got letter from Diane johnson M.P date 4th January thats says" children refuse to cooperate and are unable to provide evidence that suitable education is being provided then the local authority will be able to serve school attendance order.

But I have kept reading regardless and am encouraged by some excellently worded responses from home educators : )

Some of the comments made me want to cry too. ye gods there are some incredibly thoughtless, mindless people out there.
