The Success of Minimally Invasive Education

I had in mind to blog Professor Sugata Mitra's story, but Open Education have done the job just perfectly.

As I write, I can hear a conversation going on in next room between my eldest and his much younger sister and her pal. He's teaching them how to play Guitar Hero..."Ok, I'd like to familiarise you with this...."

Very interesting. I think the fact that children learned quite simply by watching (without verbal or even intentional instruction or even doing themselves) is an important reminder. Babies certainly learn masses by simple observation!
