I agree. I suspect unreported crimes are far higher than estimated. Indeed, I myself had my wallet lifted while in London one evening. My plan had been to report it at the Police station in Paddington Station on my way home. Needless to say, said station was shut. Typical.I couldn't be arsed reporting back home because, at the end of the day, the police aren't going to a) do anything b) arrest anyone.It could be quite possible that 'fake' crime is reported far more than 'real' crime:http://tinyurl.com/yd9wuv
