14th Carnival of Unschooling
The 14th Carnival of Homeschooling is up at Henry Cate's place. Regular read, Becky at the Farm School, has a piece on textbooks. The argument applies as much here as it does in Canada.
Heavens, Carlotta, out of all the entries to the carnival, how on earth did you happen to single out mine lol?
I always like to think that things are a bit better on the other side of the pond, especially after some time spent drooling over the offerings at Galore Park. I don't know about the UK, but the situation is definitely worse in the U.S. than in Canada, if only because a larger population means more textbooks, and because the textbook police dolts are based in the U.S.
Thanks very much the mention -- much appreciated : )
